The physical design of your book is an important part of getting your story ready for the public. We strive to create an attractive design that brings out the readability of your text.

Ebooks

Formatting
Formatting is a minimum of $100. If you have lots of charts, graphs or pictures, this may impact the price. THis includes formatting your front and back batter according to your wishes and the guidelines of the sites where your book will be published, and a linked table of contents. We suggest formatting for Smashwords, which will provide several different formats and list your book at Barnes and Noble and the Apple iBookstore. We can also format for Kindle. Uploading on these sites is available for no additional cost. We stand behind our work. Sometimes the systems in place on these sites throw back errors. If this happens, we are happy to tweak the manuscript until there are no errors from the system.

Print

Interior Book Design
$1.50 per final page for fiction. At this time, I do not design non-fiction. Books less than 100 pages are a flat rate of $100. The finished product can be used at Amazon’s CreateSpace, Lulu.com or Lightning Source for Print on Demand. You get a finished pdf file ready for printing at the size you’ve chosen. Includes design elements like chapter titles, page numbers, headers or footers and so on.

Large projects can be put on payment plans. I require 25% upfront. This is non-refundable. Three more payments would be expected, evenly spaced throughout the work period. In some cases, I am willing to consider monthly payments after the initial down payment.
