Payment Plans

money for payment plansWe know editing can be a big investment, but it’s important to do everything you can to make your book the best it can be. In order to facilitate this, we are happy to offer payment plans that can make editing more affordable for you.

To make the most of your editing dollar, spend the time to revise your manuscript as much as you can before you submit it for editing. Can you phrase that bit better? Do the words flow as smoothly as you’d like? Use spell check to make sure you have as few misspelled words as possible. Sometimes it helps to lay the manuscript aside for a few weeks and then come back to it with fresh eyes. The bits that need more work will be more apparent to you this way. By doing all this before submitting your book for editing, your editing dollar goes where it needs to go instead of being spent on errors you could have caught yourself. You’ve spent all that time writing the book…you owe it to yourself to do this work as well.

How Our Payment Plans Work

When your project is submitted, you’ll be given a quote. You’ll let me know at that time if you prefer to make payments. We do this for a lot of clients.  For payment plans, 25% is required upfront. This is non-refundable. This initiates the edit as well as holding your spot on my calendar. The remaining balance will be broken down into manageable chunks that fit your budget.

You can choose to pay monthly or in three more evenly spaced portions throughout the work period. Invoices will be sent through Paypal when payments are due. If an emergency comes up and you are unable to continue payments, please let me know. This may delay the completion of your project, but we are willing to be flexible.
